Effective date: November 29, 2025. This policy explains how TradePillow (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our services.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum data required to deliver a reliable trading journal and analytics platform. Below outlines the categories of data handled.
Account information
Name, email address, timezone, trading style preferences, and authentication identifiers required to deliver the service.
Trading data
Trade records, account metrics, tags, notes, and uploaded CSV files. These are stored to power analytics and journaling features.
Usage analytics
Event data such as page views, feature interactions, and device metadata used to improve performance and reliability. Collected with consent.
Support communications
Emails, chat messages, bug reports, and attachments shared with our team to resolve requests.
How we use information
We process data to: (a) provide and maintain the platform, (b) personalize dashboards and insights, (c) offer customer support, (d) protect against fraud or misuse, and (e) comply with legal obligations. Processing relies on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, or consent where applicable.
Data retention
Account and trading data remain active while you maintain a subscription. When you cancel or request deletion, we remove data within 30 days unless legal, regulatory, or security obligations require longer storage. Backups roll off within 35 days.
Subprocessors
We partner with vetted providers who meet industry security standards. We sign Data Processing Agreements and review controls regularly.

Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar regulations. Contact privacy@tradepillow.com to exercise these rights.
Access & portability
Request a copy of your personal data and trading records. Exports are shared in CSV or JSON within 30 days.
Correction
Update account details or request edits when data is inaccurate. Most fields can be changed directly within the app.
Deletion
Request full removal of your account and associated trade data. We delete within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
Restriction & objection
Limit certain processing activities (e.g., analytics) by adjusting preferences or contacting privacy@tradepillow.com.
International data transfers
Data may be processed in the United States or European Union. When transferring personal data outside your region, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when features or regulations change. Material updates are communicated via email or clear in-app banners.
